A Region is a policy boundary – define your inspection rules, AI routing, approvals, and guardrails once, and they are pushed consistently to every appliance and NVA in the group, no matter where each node physically runs or which form factor it takes.
New members inherit the Region’s policy automatically the moment they enroll, so scaling out never means re-authoring configuration or risking drift between nodes. Regions can mirror geography, regulatory zones, business units, or environments, and each maintains its own single source of truth so that sanctioned traffic is recognized uniformly and carve-outs stay in lockstep across the whole group.
